Description
Summary:This article addresses the question of the structure of the field of the human & social sciences, taking as a point of entry the scientific journals of these disciplines, in particular, in the case of Moroccan scientific production. Through an analysis of the structure & functioning of a variety of journals of the human & social sciences, the authors seek to show that this production constitutes an index of the structure of the scientific field. This article shows notably that a disciplinary focalization corresponds to a refocusing of the journals on themselves -- & thus to a certain regrouping of researchers around scientific objects, norms of publication, or even models of treating these objects. Furthermore, journals narrow their interest to certain scientific objects, & probably owe the growing importance of their nucleus of contributors to this specialization & to the visibility gradually acquired by the journal -- in sum, to a certain monopoly of scientific production.
