Hunting for a new capital sigma (1/2-) resonance around 1380 MeV
Quenched and unquenched quark models give very distinctive predictions for the lowest capital sigma * with spin-parity J(P) = 1/2-. We report evidence for possible existence of a new capital sigma * resonance with J(P) = 1/2- around 1380 MeV by reexamining data of various relevant reactions.
