Description
Summary:Trimethoprim and sulfisoxazole, alone and in combination, were administered in drinking water or by injection to mice inoculated with Toxoplasma gondii (RH strain). The toxoplasma infections were unaffected by any of the treatment schedules. On the basis of these experiences, it would appear that trimethoprim and sulfisoxazole, alone or in combination, are inappropriate for the treatment of human toxoplasmosis.
