Summary: | “Bound” apomorphine, the major metabolic product of apomorphine, has been isolated from the urine of rabbits by a series of ion exchange procedures, fractionated by paper chromatography, and identified by enzymatic hydrolysis and various color tests. It has been found to consist of two metabolites which, based on electronic absorption and stereochemical consideration, are designated as apomorphine 3,O-sorption and 4,O-β-glucuronides, respectively. |
