Description
Summary:The flow sheet discussed in this article raises record-keeping from a mundane chore to a creative component of the health care system. But, say the authors, it does even more than that. By making sure that all nurses using it agree on procedure and term definitions, it can point up not only organizational strengths in which all may take pride, but also weaknesses which may be corrected by inservice educational programs. Although the flow sheet is described in the geriatric setting in which these authors work, its greater universality is readily apparent.
