Description
Summary:Radioautographs of tissue from the thyroid gland prepared 24 hours after the administration of iodine-125 showed that the concentration of radioactivity in intracellular colloid droplets was the same as that in the follicular colloid. This observation indicates that colloid droplets are due to phagocytosis of small portions of follicular colloid.
