Stimulus Presentation Rate in Vigilance
Four groups of 12 subjects were run for two sessions to determine the influence of stimulus presentation rate in a monitoring task. Two stimulus rates were used, 12 and 60 per minute. Stimulus rate significantly affected detections on both days, but no transfer effect was found.
