Summary: | The Cephidae, commonly referred to as stem sawflies in the suborder Symphyta of the Hymenoptera, comprise 166 species worldwide (Taeger & Blank 2008). In a recent overview, Korkmaz et al. (2010) listed 25 species from Turkey based on literature records and specimens collected mainly from Central Anatolia. The present paper adds new distribution records and a few species new to Turkey. |
