Description
Summary:THE frequency of micturition during pregnancy is regarded as a normal reaction to this physiological state. The mechanism which is responsible for this action, however, remains a matter of conjecture. It was once assumed that, during pregnancy, frequent micturition resulted from the impingement of the enlarging uterus on the urinary bladder. It has since been recognized that this is not the complete answer to the problem 1,2 .
