Description
Summary:A CLUE to the structure of macromolecules in solution is given by the exchange of protons between the macromolecules and the surrounding solvent. We have investigated the exchange of tritium between DNA and water at different temperatures. We have used the technique of ‘Sephadex’ chromatography described by Englander 1 and used by Printz and von Hippel 2 to study tritium exchange between DNA and water.
