Summary: | Novel perchlorate selective polymeric membrane electrode based on recently synthesized neutral ion-pair complex dodecyltrimethylammonium-perchlorate (

M. Proposed electrode has fast response time (10 s) and wide pH range (1.40-6.05). Selectivity coefficient values indicate its ability to preferentially sense perchlorate ions in presence of various secondary anions. Application of the proposed electrode has been studied by potentiometric estimation of perchlorate ions in synthetic water samples. |
