Description
Summary:An examination of the extent to which simultaneous impairment of verbal & visuo-spatial function is permanent in Alzheimer's disease (AD). A battery of neuropsychological tests was administered to patients with a history of at least one year of diagnosed progressive worsening of AD (N = 12). Overall results indicate that lang is always disturbed to some extent, but that constructional apraxia is not necessarily present. Some influence of age of onset was also noted, with the youngest patients being most impaired. Some patterns concerning subsets of deficits were observed. 2 Tables, 29 References. Modified HA
