Summary: | The results of an analysis of critical experiments performed on BFS-40 assemblies at the Physics and Power-Engineering Institute from 1977 to 1992 are presented. The computed and experimental values of K sub(eff) are compared for nine critical assemblies with high-enrichment uranium dioxide fuel and various reflectors. The Monte Carlo method is used together with the computer programs MCNP, MCU-RFFI, and MMKFK-2, the subgroup approximation for the resonance structure of the cross sections, and the P sub(5) approximation for the scattering function. It is shown that the experiments which were evaluated can be used as standards. |
