Summary: | Variants of technological schemes of an emergency gas-removal system for a VVÉR-1000 reactor are described. The function of the system is to purge noncondensing gases from steam generators. The GE-2M large-scale stand for integrated study of the functional operability and interaction of new passive sytems performing safety functions is examined. The results of works which have been performed thus far are presented and a description of a program of experiments performed on the stand to study the effect of the accumulation of noncondensing gases in the tube sheet of the steam generator on its condensation power are presented. The effectiveness of the system purging noncondensing gases from the cold collector of a steam generator is estimated.[PUBLICATION ABSTRACT] |
