Summary:The welfare of the dogs themselves, and the subsequent effect on their behaviour, cannot be ignored, and it is becoming abundantly clear to me that the means of seizure and handling of dogs, not infrequently involving breaking into a property when a dog is 'home alone', has a profound effect on how the dogs subsequently view people, and their mental stability and welfare while confined in police kennels.
