Description
Summary:Licence to Kill: A β‐galactosidase‐responsive molecular “Trojan horse” was designed to selectively kill folate receptor‐positive tumor cells. The recognition of the folate membrane receptor is followed by the internalization and the subsequent enzymatic activation of the targeting assembly to release the cytotoxic agent in a stringently controlled fashion exclusively inside the targeted cells.
