Summary:The low-temperature ferroelectric G2 polymorph of K sub(3)WO sub(3)F sub(3) oxyfluoride is formed by chemical synthesis. The electronic parameters of G2-K sub(3)WO sub(3)F sub(3) have been measured by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy under excitation with Al [inline image] radiation (1486.6 eV). Detailed spectra have been recorded for all element core levels and Auger lines. The chemical bonding effects in the WO sub(3)F sub(3) and WO sub(6) octahedrons are considered by using the binding energy difference [inline image].
