Summary: | Acute flaccid paralysis (AFP), other than paralytic poliomyelitis, are usually due to demyelination like Guillian Barre syndrome (GBS), transverse myelitis and traumatic neuritis. We present a two and a half year old child who developed AFP with phantom hernia following an episode of bronchial asthma. |
