Summary: | A relationship between damage of eggfruits and the number of
Frankliniella occidentalis (Pergande) on eggplant leaves was determined in a plastic eggplant greenhouse under various insecticide application schedules. The damage of eggfruits was evaluated by the four independent evaluators using a damage scale from 0 (least damaged) to 5 (most damaged). There was no significant difference in damage grading between evaluators. A relationship between the expected portion of marketable eggfruits and an average degree of damage was determined to provide a standard for a specific market.
