Noncovalent Interactions of Metalloporphyrins with Polyamidoamine Dendrimers Give Rise to Efficient Catalytic Systems for H2O2 Oxidation of Trichlorophenol in Water

A noncovalent FeTPPS/dendrimer system is an efficient and stable catalyst for the oxidation of trichlorophenol in water with H2O2. A very high total turnover number is obtained and no obvious blenching is observed. The catalytic system can be recycled several times with a only slight decrease of the...

Description
Summary:A noncovalent FeTPPS/dendrimer system is an efficient and stable catalyst for the oxidation of trichlorophenol in water with H2O2. A very high total turnover number is obtained and no obvious blenching is observed. The catalytic system can be recycled several times with a only slight decrease of the catalytic activity, underlining the robustness of the catalyst.
