Description
Summary:Some analyses in the field have sought to cast light on the benefits of V4 interactions within the broader transatlantic security community including, but also reaching beyond, the European Union as a policy framework.2 Sources and structure The book currently under review relies on a variety of sources - primary and secondary alike - which include official documents, public opinion surveys, sociological studies of identities and statistical data. After establishing lessons and motivations from national histories as well as the affinities and differences ofthe Visegrad countries, the key foreign policy challenges and tasks are laid out in order to draw up the inspirational baseline for Visegrad co-operation in its potential function as a regional platform for the formation of a shared security consciousness and purpose.
