Backswimmers (Heteroptera, Notonectidae) of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (Central Caucasus)

Three species of backswimmers (Heteroptera, Notonectidae) are recorded from Kabardino-Balkaria: Notonecta glauca Linnaeus, N. viridis Delcourt, and Anisops sardeus Herrich-Schaeffer, the latter species being new to the fauna of Russia.
