Summary:The mechanism of interaction of the electron transport protein plastocyanin with its reaction partners, photosystem 1 and cytochrome bf complex in cyanobacteria and higher plants differs. The purpose of this study was to establish the role of electrostatic interactions in the formation of the complex between plastocyanin and photosystem 1 and cytochrome f in cyanobacteria using computer simulation.
