Estimating directions of optic disk blood vessels in retinal images

The problem of determining directions of blood vessels in the optic disk is considered. The proposed method for estimating the vessel directions is based on analyzing local minima of gray-scale profile of the eye-ground image. Results of tests on real images are presented.[PUBLICATION ABSTRACT]
