Summary: | This article describes experimental specimens of a cryospray of the trade mark Ledyanaya Volna (Glacial Wave) for sportsmen, prepared at Vekshinskii NIIVT. Cryospray is used in several countries as a cooling agent for cases of damages to soft tissues, such as impacts, contusions (bruises), muscle strains, etc., and for cases of hidden damages to the locomotor system, such as dislocations, ligament distensions (sprains), etc. It helps prevent edema (swelling), inflammation, hematoma (blood clot) formation, etc., and has analgesic (pain-relieving) effect. Unlike its foreign relatives, this cooling agent has been fortified by curative and restorative properties of various herbs and oils. All this contributes to quicker recuperation of the sportsman. |
