Summary: | The department of metals science and heat treatment of the Perm State Engineering University actively works on the problem of dispersion of low-carbon martensitic steels with ultrafine grains and a nanometric size of the characteristic element of structure. It is shown that the highest efficiency of nitriding of this group of steels is attained when the formed structure has a high density of phase boundaries and an elevated content of imperfections of the crystal structure. |
