Defects and thermal hardening of reinforcement rolled from continuous-cast billet

Defects of carbon and low-carbon steel reinforcement of periodic profile are investigated. Optimal heat-treatment conditions for reinforcement used in Kazakhstan are investigated in laboratory tests.
