Sonochemical Destruction of CFC 11 and CFC 113 in Dilute Aqueous Solution

A preliminary, proof-of-principle demonstration of the sonochemical destruction of CFC 11 and CFC 113 in dilute aqueous solution was performed. The destruction of the CFC solutions was very rapid, with less than 5% of the CFCs undergoing volatization.
