Summary: | Rubbing it in: Zeolite membranes with a high separation performance and reproducibility are synthesized on supports with large pores by rubbing a seed paste onto the surface of the support. A smooth seeded surface can be obtained by applying an additional shaving process. Depositing seed paste on the support surface is likely to open up a new route for seeding large‐pores support, thus greatly decreasing the cost of zeolite membranes. |
