Summary: | Air contaminants emitted during the incineration of hazardous wastes must be determined as indicators of unit performance. Research on developing adequate methods of sampling and analysis of the emissions is in progress. Techniques for sampling organic compounds likely to be designated as principal organic hazardous constituents for a trial burn are addressed. Operating mechanisms of the source assessment sampling system, the modified method five train, the volatile organic sampling train, and plastic sampling bags are explained. |
