Transformation of Carbon Tetrachloride by Pyrite in Aqueous Solution

The reactivity of carbon tetrachloride with pyrite is examined by measuring the transformation rates and products under aerobic and anaerobic conditions. Under all reaction conditions, the pyrite surface was depleted of ferrous iron.
