Description
Summary:To obtain stable mesoporous CdS quantum dots, an in situ method that uses oleic acid as a soft template was introduced, and the oleic acid modified CdS quantum dots were then treated with microwaves. The structure and properties of the samples were characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR), high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM), thermogravimetry (TG) and Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET) gas sorptometry. It was found that microwave treatment had a positive effect on the increase in surface area, improving the mesostructure and narrowing the pore size distribution of mesoporous CdS.
