Mechanism of relaxation dispersions of permeability spectra in Co-based amorphous wire

Description
Summary:The permeability spectra has been measured in as-quenched (Co/sub 0.94/Fe/sub 0.06/)/sub 72.5/Si/sub 12.5/B/sub 15/ amorphous wire as a function of dc-biased current, I/sub b/. Two relaxations of permeability spectra are revealed in 4 and 52 kHz regions, indicating that different magnetization mechanisms are involved in each frequency region. As the dc-biased current I/sub b/ increases, the value of spectra curve at 52 kHz monotonously decreases due to the decrease of core domains by I/sub b/. However the value of the spectra curve at 4 kHz increases with I/sub b/ up to 4.25 mA and then decreases with further increasing I/sub b/.
