Description
Summary:Variations in the summertime concentrations of selected polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) were monitored at four new Jersey sites. Levels of pah reported are consistent with other values found in the literature. Day-to-day trends in pah concentrations at the sites were influenced by regional meteorology; however, local sources appear to have the greatest influence on ambient levles. Motor vehicle traffic contributes most of the summertime atmospheric PAHs at the four sites.
