Summary: | The paper examines the tribotechnical characteristics of materials with a fluoroplastic matrix containing an inorganic filler. It is established that the tribotechnical properties of the test materials depend on the particle size of the filler, its content in the matrix, and friction pressure. With smaller particles, the friction coefficient and wear rate of the composite decrease. Comparing the dependence of the friction coefficient and wear rate on the amount of the filler, its particle size, and friction coefficient shows that composite containing 25% inorganic filler with particles smaller than 10 μm is optimal for actual use. |
