Summary: | The increasing difficulties in collecting information about dissipative systems that would be necessary and sufficient for desirable control over the manufacturing process are discussed. It is shown that the processes of mass transfer responsible for the solid-phase reversible chemical reactions in the MgO - Al sub(2)O sub(3) - SiO sub(2) system have an autocatalytic and oscillating nature. The possibility of providing in the heat-treatment process the requisite level of the evolution of the phase composition for obtaining materials with a specified combination of properties is discussed. |
