Measurement of flatness of hot-rolled strips under coiler tension using IP-4 optoelectronic sensors

We describe a domestically-manufactured flatness sensor capable of measuring nonuniformities in metal outflow from the gap between rollers-a quantity directly required for adjustment of flatness in rolled strips.
