Manifestations of hyperfine interaction in optical spectra of KY sub(3F) sub(1)0:Ho super(3+)

We report on the first observation of the well-resolved hyperfine structure in optical spectra of the KY sub(3F) sub(1)0:Ho super(3+ single crystals. Some interesting peculiarities of this structure and the origin of the observed forbidden transitions are discussed.)
