Summary:As to the noise pollution of the Hebei University of Engineering north boiler room, we have conducted a series of actual research, monitoring, and analysis of the spectrum of various monitoring sites. According to the results of the spectrum analysis, we found the noise source and proposed noise reduction measures, namely the establishment of sound insulation room in which the drums and induced draft fan installed, and the wall of the room are appended acoustic sound--absorbing material. The results show that this noise reduction method is feasible.
