Description
Summary:Graphene has attracted intense interest due to its exceptional physical and chemical properties as well as its wide potential applications. The processability and stability of this two-dimensional material in a variety of solvents have been the prerequisites for its functionalization, which will generate more interesting properties for further applications. In this mini review, we present and discuss the current status of liquid-phase exfoliation of graphene from various types of graphite, followed by a topical summarization of recent progress in the functionalization and applications of graphene.
