Summary: | Some, if not most, may be surprised to learn that the tech world is in the midst of a sea change with respect to the way in which Web sites are created. For what seems like eons now, developers depended on Adobe Flash to do really magical things on the web, using it in concert with a programming language called HyperText Markup Language (HTML) to embed complex animation and video elements. Well, HTML has finally grown up, so much so that it's becoming a self-sufficient alternative for web designers. Although the latest iteration, known as HTML5, is still evolving, it's being hailed by techies as the successor to the Flash age and the true future of the web. |
