Description
Summary:The author's colleague had recently attended some meetings in the States and had heard considerable discussion around online services that analyze users' investment portfolios and, based on algorithmic models, offer advice. He had gotten the impression that the availability of these services was gaining momentum and that US-based companies were in the vanguard of their development. His thinking was that any insights he uncovered could potentially benefit LIMRA's international members, who are located in areas where these services were not yet on the radar screen. Based on results of recent LIMRA research on the Internet's role in the sales process, he has been intrigued with the idea of Internet-based advice for insurance products.
