Summary:Although the boom psychology which was so prevalent at the outset of 1962 and with which I did not go along, has been moderated, the outlook is still for a moderately upward trend in the general economy during the rest of the year. Gross national product (the total of business, consumer and government spending), the major indicator of business conditions, should average about $565.5 billion dollars during the last six months of 1962.
