Questlove wrote that her signature hit, the Grammy-winning "Royals," made passe decades of hip-hop signifiers; Dave Grohl tapped her to sing Nirvana's "All Apologies" at the band's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction in April; and David Bowie told her that "listening to you is like listening to tomorrow."
