Sun City is a census-designated place of approximately 40,000 people in unincorporated Maricopa County. Sun City was originally called "the great social experiment" and is considered by many to be the world's first active adult retirement community. Single-family and multifamily residential are the leading land uses, with supporting recreational and commercial development. |
