Summary:The transmission utilities are the ones that enable nationwide power trading and better access to all sources of energy. This fact is true in every country. In the United States of America, "one environmental expert linked this to force America to live under the Aluminum Sky." Comparing the transmissions lines to highways, they are the necessary infrastructure to ensure that the product (energy) achieves it consumer. Therefore, it is the paper of the State to create the regulatory framework to guarantee the development of necessary infrastructure, so that the final consumers can reach their product. In the case under study, the infrastructure needed is the construction of transmission lines to carry alternative sources to energy finals consumers in Brazil.
