Summary:Upon reviewing her work and career it is little wonder that she was the winner of the 2005 SLA Boston Chapter Achievement Award, honored for her tireless advocacy for the use and usefulness of blogs and RSS news feeds in special libraries and for her work spanning several years on the Boston Chapter Logistics Committee. Always with a strong interest in computers, Baumgart and her fellow students felt they were getting the experience that employers were looking for-then she saw a position for Web page editor advertised at the library for someone to do some editing for one of the bibliographers for South and Southeast Asia guides.
