Summary: | Simple, parallel load balancing is implemented by having each load-sharing controller calculate a load variable (D) that is a linear function of its compressor's deviation from surge, while the master controller calculates the average of these compressor loads. Each load-sharing controller then calculates a PID load-balancing response to the deviation of its load from the average and adds it to the common, speed set point calculated by the primary capacity-control response. |
