Summary: | For some, overnight custom studies can be a helpful tool. Custom overnight research is most frequently used for: 1. public relations issues, 2. advertising presentations, and 3. media polling. In a custom overnight survey, research questions are typically due to the supplier by noon of the day the interviewing takes place. A good alternative to custom overnight research is the omnibus survey, which works well in situations where speed is important, but 24-hour turnaround is now required. Questions can be piggybacked onto a national sample. Interviewing takes place over a 3 to 5 day period. |
