Description
Summary:In recent years there has been a lot of lip service given by businesses, industries, and government for rural community and economic development -- most of it without any favorable results. ENMR-Plateau has actively responded to several opportunities for reinvestment over the past several years, among them a Board-approved budget item to support the "Nuestro Vecinos -- Our Neighbors" Matching Grant Program. This program provides funding up to $10,000 for any community project that will enhance its economic sustainability, growth or development. Because of the available technology and employee support at ENMR-Plateau, a new Web site has been created that focuses specifically on economic and community development.
